What You Don’t Know About Body Wrapping

Everyone is talking about body wrapping and most everyone knows that you can lose inches fast, sometimes within hours of using them. But what about the other benefits these body wrap sites brag about? Like “lose cellulite” and “lose weight”? Do these body wraps really do what they claim? Yes and No. This is where the experts tend to disagree.

Some experts claim that you are only shedding water weight and that within a day or two your body will be back to the way it was. Others believe that they detoxify your body and using several body wraps over time will help you to lose that stubborn fat hanging around. 

The bottom line is that body wrapping does not and never has burned fat. Fat can only be burned by decreasing calories and increasing activity. There is no scientific evidence proving that body wraps burn fat. I am not going to lie to you and tell you that you can lose 10 pounds from wrapping yourself, because you most likely can’t.

From experience, I can tell you that body wrapping can and will help you shed those few inches hanging around your belly and thighs and it can reduce the appearance of cellulite however I would not count on a home body wrap to help you shed all of your weight. These products do not work miracles. Get yourself to the gym, eat healthy and use body wrapping only to assist you in tightening and toning those last stubborn inches around your middle.
